About CNZZ

CNZZ (now part of Umeng+) is a Chinese web analytics platform that was one of the earliest and most widely used website statistics services in China. Originally launched in 2005, CNZZ provided free traffic analytics including page views, unique visitors, referral sources, and geographic data tailored for the Chinese internet ecosystem.

In 2013, CNZZ merged with Umeng (a Alibaba-owned mobile analytics company) to form Umeng+, which continues to provide analytics solutions for both web and mobile in China. The CNZZ tracking script is still embedded on a large number of Chinese websites, particularly older sites that have not migrated to newer analytics platforms. It remains a significant data point when analyzing technology usage across Chinese-language websites.
