A freshly dropped property with strong inbound links is worth far more than a random string, and it is hard to tell them apart by eye. Every row is scored by two signals computed from the web link graph, so you can rank the ones with links worth having and skip the empty shells in seconds.
PageRank
PageRank measures how much of the web's link authority flows to a name. A high score on a lapsed property means real inbound links, not just an old registration date.
Harmonic Centrality
Harmonic Centrality is a second link-graph score, more robust to spam. Together with PageRank it tells you which names have genuine authority worth inheriting.
