Curation was briefly a job title. Scoop.it was built for the years when reposting other people's links on a schedule counted as a content strategy, so a page still carrying the widget tends to show what a company was doing when the template was last rebuilt rather than what it does now.
The platform is a content curation service, filed here under Content curation, built by Scoop.it for teams that wanted to publish a steady stream of topical links without writing original articles.
