Acerca de Scoop.it

La curación de contenidos fue durante un tiempo un puesto de trabajo. Scoop.it se construyó para los años en que republicar enlaces ajenos con una periodicidad fija contaba como estrategia de contenidos, así que una página que todavía lleva el widget suele mostrar lo que hacía una empresa cuando se rehízo la plantilla por última vez, no lo que hace ahora.

La plataforma es un servicio de curación de contenidos, clasificado aquí en la categoría Content curation, creado por Scoop.it para equipos que querían publicar un flujo constante de enlaces temáticos sin escribir artículos propios. Los sitios web lo incorporan mediante un feed o un widget embebido, normalmente en un blog corporativo, un centro de recursos o una barra lateral de marketing. La adopción arranca en 2011 y continúa a partir de ahí, cuando la curación era una táctica generalizada del marketing de contenidos y no una rareza.
