InstantClick is an open-source JavaScript library that speeds up website navigation by preloading pages when a user hovers over a link. By fetching the next page in the background before the click is registered, InstantClick can make page transitions feel nearly instantaneous.

The library uses Ajax to load page content and replace it in the browser's history, providing a smooth experience similar to single-page applications without requiring a full SPA architecture. InstantClick is lightweight and easy to integrate into existing server-rendered websites. It is particularly useful for content-heavy sites where perceived performance is a priority.
