O InstantClick é uma biblioteca JavaScript de código aberto que acelera a navegação em sites ao pré-carregar páginas quando o utilizador passa o rato por cima de uma ligação. Ao obter a página seguinte em segundo plano antes de o clique ser registado, o InstantClick consegue fazer com que as transições de página pareçam quase instantâneas.

A biblioteca utiliza Ajax para carregar o conteúdo da página e substituí-lo no histórico do navegador, proporcionando uma experiência fluida semelhante à das aplicações de página única, sem exigir uma arquitetura SPA completa. O InstantClick é leve e fácil de integrar em sites existentes renderizados pelo servidor. É particularmente útil em sites com muito conteúdo, onde o desempenho percebido é uma prioridade.
