About WordAds
WordAds is the official advertising program for WordPress.com sites and Jetpack-powered self-hosted WordPress blogs, operated by Automattic and its advertising partner Mediavine (formerly through the Wordads network). It allows eligible WordPress site owners to monetize their content by displaying high-quality display and native ads served by major advertising networks.
WordAds handles advertiser relationships, ad optimization, and revenue distribution, providing publishers with a straightforward way to earn income from their content without managing direct advertiser deals. The program is available to sites hosted on WordPress.com or self-hosted sites using the Jetpack plugin. Revenue is shared between Automattic and the publisher, with payouts made monthly based on traffic and ad performance.
