About MyBlogLog
MyBlogLog was a social networking and blog analytics service originally launched in 2005 and later acquired by Yahoo. It allowed bloggers to track their readership, display a widget showing recent visitors, and connect with other bloggers in a community setting.
The service was shut down by Yahoo in 2011, but traces of its tracking scripts and widgets remained embedded on older websites for years after. MyBlogLog was notable for pioneering real-time visitor tracking widgets in the early blogging era, influencing later social reader and analytics tools.
