Page builders for WordPress were a settled market before Bricks arrived. A Page builders written in PHP and published by Bricks since 2021, it came late, charged money from the first day, and had to win installs one purchase at a time from tools that were already in place.

As of September 2026 we detect the builder on 63,909 sites. Every one of those installs was a purchase made recently by somebody who had free alternatives available and passed on them, which is a very different signal from the presence of a plugin that ships bundled with a theme.

The buyer profile follows from the Commercial model and from how the product positions itself. Builders sold on clean markup, query loops and developer control get bought by agencies and freelancers producing client work rather than by hobbyists, and a single license often covers many client sites. A population of sites on this builder is therefore a population of sites with a paid professional behind them, and the agencies become visible through clustering, because several sites sharing a builder, a host and a set of supporting plugins usually share a maker too.

United States carries 28,337 of the detections and .com is the recurring suffix, which reflects where the WordPress professional market talks to itself rather than any restriction on the product. A young product's geography is really a distribution map of its marketing, its tutorials and its community forums, and geography of that kind should be expected to move faster year on year than the geography of an established tool.

Detecting a page builder means inferring it from the markup and assets it leaves behind, and builders that pride themselves on lean output leave less behind than most. Sites served entirely from a cache or exported to static files can lose the trace altogether, so our count is a floor rather than a census. For a product this recent the direction of the count matters more than its level anyway, because a builder either compounds through the agency market in its early years or stalls in them.

The list answers what a domain lookup cannot: how fast the base is growing, what it is displacing, which hosts and plugin stacks it clusters with, and which agencies have standardized on it. Hosts, plugin authors and competing builders all buy the same file for different reasons, and the underlying reason is always the same, that a market made of professional builders is only visible from outside, through the sites they have shipped.
