About Enigma
Some technology labels are cleaner than others, and this one deserves a warning before it deserves a count. The name Enigma is used by more than one thing on the web, including a widely distributed WordPress theme and a data analytics company, and a fingerprint keyed on that name cannot always tell you which of them it found. Anyone buying this slice of the data should treat the label as a starting point for verification rather than as a settled fact about every domain in it.
Our own record does not settle the question, and pretending otherwise would help nobody. The structured fields name Infigo Software as the supplier, mark the software GPL v2 and file it under WordPress themes, while the address we hold for the entry is a listing in the WordPress theme directory, where a free multipurpose theme of the same name is published by Infigo Software. A buyer should weigh those two pointers against each other rather than accept whichever reading a description offers first.
The theme reading is the one our stored address supports, and it leads somewhere commercially useful in its own right. A free WordPress theme population describes small business and agency builds, hosting concentration, and how long a site has gone without attention, because a theme moves to a new release only when somebody logs in and clicks the button. Nothing in that group resembles the buyer of an enterprise data product, which is why carrying both readings forward as one list wastes the time of whoever bought it.
Resolving which reading applies to which domain requires the whole file. As of October 2026 we record 24 sites under the label, and the working method is to pull the list, look at the accompanying signals on each domain, and split the population yourself. Sites running a full WordPress stack with a theme fingerprint separate quickly from corporate sites with an analytics deployment, and hosting, country and domain ending push the separation further. A per-domain lookup hands you a label with the same ambiguity attached and no way to resolve it. The download hands you the neighboring evidence that makes resolution possible, which is exactly the situation where a bulk dataset earns its price over a single query.
