About Adally
An accessibility script is one of the few additions to a page that changes what a visitor can do rather than what the operator can measure. Adally is a vendor in that space, delivered as Proprietary JavaScript that loads with the page, works against the markup already there, checks it against published accessibility guidelines and reports or adjusts what it finds.
Presence carries an inference about the operator rather than about the technology. A site that installs an accessibility tool has decided that it has visitors it cannot afford to lock out, a legal exposure worth managing, and enough scrutiny that handling the question informally is no longer comfortable. Brochure sites rarely bother. Public bodies, education, healthcare, retailers and anyone selling into markets where accessibility is written into law generally do, which means the domain list doubles as a list of operators who believe they are being watched.
Our record of the vendor itself is thin, and saying so is more useful than filling the gap.
