About 1C-Bitrix

Some platforms map onto a market so tightly that finding one on a domain tells you where the business operates before it tells you anything about the business. 1C-Bitrix is a case of exactly that. Released in 2001 and written in PHP, the CMS was built for the Russian-speaking commercial web and sold through a partner network of integrators, and our data carries the imprint of that model. Reading where a national platform stops is often more informative than reading where it is strong.

Platform choice in this market has also become a question of jurisdiction rather than of features. Procurement rules, payment processing, sanctions and the plain availability of support have all pushed sites toward or away from locally licensed software in recent years, and a technology census taken at intervals is the only practical way to see which direction a given segment actually moved. A single lookup tells you what one competitor runs today. Repeated downloads tell you whether a market is consolidating on a national platform or quietly leaving it, which is a different question and a more valuable one.

Detection relies on fingerprints in markup, cookie names and static asset paths that the platform emits by default. A heavily customised template or an aggressive caching layer in front of the origin can hide those, so the count is a floor. The edition in use is not visible from outside either, which means we can tell you a site runs the platform but not whether it bought the commerce tier, and no version marker is exposed consistently enough for us to publish one.
