Twenty Fifteen is a default WordPress theme released with WordPress 4.1 in December 2014. It features a clean, blog-focused design with a sidebar navigation layout and strong typography, designed to showcase long-form written content. The theme was designed by Takashi Irie and is fully responsive.

As with other default WordPress themes, Twenty Fifteen is maintained by Automattic and the WordPress core team, and is freely available under the GPL license from the official WordPress theme directory. It remains in use on many WordPress-powered blogs and websites that were built during or after its release year. Its minimal design philosophy and accessibility-friendly markup made it a popular starting point for custom theme development.
