Public Interest Registry does not guarantee its accuracy. Users accessing the Public Interest Registry RDAP service agree to use the data only for lawful purposes, and under no circumstances may this data be used to: a) allow, enable, or otherwise support the transmission by e-mail, telephone, or facsimile of mass unsolicited, commercial advertising or solicitations to entities other than the registrar's own existing customers and b) enable high volume, automated, electronic processes that send queries or data to the systems of Public Interest Registry or any ICANN-accredited registrar, except as reasonably necessary to register domain names or modify existing registrations. When using the Public Interest Registry RDAP service, please consider the following: the RDAP service is not a replacement for standard EPP commands to the SRS service. RDAP is not considered authoritative for registered domain objects. The RDAP service may be scheduled for downtime during production or OT&E maintenance periods. Queries to the RDAP services are throttled. If too many queries are received from a single IP address within a specified time, the service will begin to reject further queries for a period of time to prevent disruption of RDAP service access. Abuse of the RDAP system through data mining is mitigated by detecting and limiting bulk query access from single sources. Should you wish to contact the registrant, please refer to the RDAP records available through the registrar URL listed above. About Flyspray

Bug tracking moved into hosted subscriptions so completely that finding a self-installed tracker on a public web server now says something about the team that put it there. Flyspray belongs to the older habit. Written in PHP and released under the LGPL, the project dates from 2004, back when a small team that wanted issue tracking usually unpacked one onto the same host as the work it tracked.

A tracker is an internal tool, which is what makes it interesting to find facing the open internet. Nobody markets with a bug tracker and nobody buys traffic to one. When Flyspray answers on a hostname, the reason is usually that a project deliberately left its workflow open to outside contributors, or that an administrator forgot a subdomain was still resolving. Two very different readings, and only a full list lets you tell them apart.

The licence explains part of the pattern. Released under the LGPL, Flyspray could be dropped onto a company's own infrastructure without a purchase order, a trial or a conversation with a salesperson, which is exactly why installs of software like it end up undocumented internally. Nobody in procurement knows the tracker exists, and by the time anyone asks, the person who set it up has usually moved on.

As of October 2026 we detect Flyspray on 1 site. A figure that small is worth stating plainly rather than dressing it up, and it deserves a caveat alongside. Detection rests on markup and asset paths the application emits, so an installation behind a login wall, an IP allowlist or a reverse proxy that rewrites those paths will never appear. The number is a floor rather than a census.

For a researcher the value is not in any single hostname but in the shape of the whole set. A security team hunting stale PHP applications wants every host running a tracker of this vintage in one file, because the risk sits in the installs nobody remembers deploying. A maintainer studying how project infrastructure ages wants the same file for the opposite reason, as evidence of what survives once the fashion moves on. No amount of one-by-one domain checking answers either question, because both are questions about a population.

A per-domain lookup tells you whether a given site runs Flyspray. The downloadable list tells you who still runs it at all, which is the only version of the question worth asking about software this old.

Frequently asked questions

How many websites use Flyspray?

webatla detects Flyspray on 1 website, refreshed daily, with its domain, DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.

Can I download the list of websites using Flyspray?

Yes, as structured JSONL. Grab a free sample first.

What's included for each site, and how fresh is it?

Domain, DNS, RDAP/WHOIS, the full technology stack, IP & country, PageRank and Harmonic, re-detected and re-exported daily.

How do I find the websites using Flyspray?

Buy the technology dataset, then download the complete list of domains we detect using Flyspray, re-exported every day.

What else is in the Flyspray technology data?

Each row places Flyspray next to the other technology on the same site, plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.

Can I download just the sites using Flyspray, or the whole database?

Both. Every site running Flyspray comes in the Technologies dataset, one downloadable file. Or buy All data for the entire database: technologies plus identity, ranking, DNS and RDAP/WHOIS for every domain, combined in one file. Daily fresh export.

How do I download the list of websites using Flyspray?

Three steps: (1) grab the free 10,000-row sample to inspect the schema, (2) buy the Technologies dataset, (3) download the full list of every domain we detect running Flyspray as a JSON Lines file. It is re-exported daily, so you can re-download the freshest list any time inside your access window. Each row carries the domain plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, hosting country and rank.
