Unpkg is a fast, global content delivery network for npm packages. It allows developers to load any file from any package published to the npm registry directly in a browser via a simple URL, without needing to install the package locally or set up a build pipeline.
Unpkg is widely used for prototyping, CDN-hosted script includes, and quick demos where installing dependencies via a package manager would be cumbersome. A URL such as unpkg.com/react@18/umd/react.production.min.js delivers the specified file from npm with automatic caching and global edge distribution.
