Question2Answer (Q2A) is a free, open-source question-and-answer platform written in PHP that enables website owners to create Stack Overflow-style community Q&A sites. It supports user registration, voting, tagging, search, and moderation features out of the box.

First released in 2011 by Gideon Greenspan, Question2Answer is designed to be easy to install on any standard PHP and MySQL hosting environment. It offers a plugin and theme system for extensibility and can be integrated with existing user databases such as WordPress or custom login systems. Q2A is used by educational institutions, support communities, and knowledge-sharing platforms globally.
