About Easy Redirects
Redirect rules are unglamorous work, and they quietly decide whether years of accumulated inbound links still point at anything. Easy Redirects manages those rules from an administrative screen instead of a server configuration file, which is a choice about who is allowed to make them.
The name is generic enough to be shared by more than one product. Our record holds a PHP implementation under the GPL v2 licence, which fits a plugin installed into a self-hosted publishing platform, while the listing attached to the entry points at an app marketplace for hosted storefronts. Our match is a fingerprint, not a company, so a site counted here may be running either product carrying that name. Saying so plainly is more useful than picking one story and being wrong about half the matches.
As of October 2026 we detect Easy Redirects on 1 site, and redirect tooling is genuinely hard to observe from outside. A working redirect answers with a status header and sends the browser somewhere else, and the destination page carries no trace of what produced the hop.
