MobX est une bibliothèque open source populaire de gestion d’état pour les applications JavaScript, particulièrement utilisée avec React. Créée par Michel Weststrate et maintenue par la communauté MobX, elle applique des principes de programmation réactive transparente pour suivre automatiquement les dépendances d’état et mettre à jour l’interface lorsque l’état change.
MobX adopte une approche orientée objet de la gestion d’état, que de nombreux développeurs trouvent plus intuitive que les patrons fonctionnels de Redux. Elle nécessite un minimum de code répétitif et s’adapte aussi bien aux petites applications qu’aux plus grandes. MobX est largement utilisée dans les applications React d’entreprise et prend en charge TypeScript nativement, avec une bibliothèque complémentaire, MobX-State-Tree, qui apporte une structure supplémentaire pour les arbres d’état complexes.
