About Vizury
Retargeting code is among the first things stripped from a page when a campaign ends. Advertising and re-engagement tags follow budget cycles rather than architecture decisions, which makes a technology of this kind behave very differently inside a dataset than a web server or a content management system does.
Vizury sits in the Marketing automation class and has been on the market under the Affle name since 2010, carrying a Proprietary license, built around turning anonymous site visitors into known customers and re-engaging the ones who left without buying. The product's own site now presents the business as part of Affle and puts messaging channels at the centre of what it sells. A site carrying the tag is running, or was recently running, a paid campaign to bring past visitors back. The fingerprint is a statement about marketing spend and not about how the site was built, which is why it belongs in a different mental column from the rest of a technology profile.
