About Qualaroo
A survey that appears at the moment a visitor hesitates over a checkout button is a different kind of instrumentation from a pageview counter, and Qualaroo sits on the qualitative side of that line. The product is recorded here under Surveys, but what it gathers is written answers from visitors rather than events, so a site carrying it has usually made a deliberate decision to ask its users questions instead of only measuring them.
Ownership shapes how the row should be read. The technology is published by ProProfs under a Proprietary license, and the vendor name differs from the product name, which normally records an acquisition and a product now maintained inside a larger suite. A vendor and product mismatch is worth checking before any outreach list is built, because the renewal conversation may sit with a company whose name never appears in the page source.
As of October 2026 we detect Qualaroo on 1 site. Treat the figure as a floor rather than a measurement of adoption. Client-side feedback tools written in JavaScript are frequently delivered through a tag manager, loaded for a sampled share of traffic, or fired on one step of a funnel that a crawler never reaches. Any of those arrangements hides the tool from a scan that stops at the pages a visitor sees first. The count therefore names sites where the script was visible at crawl time, not every site holding a licence.
The record dates the product to 2012, early enough that its installed base mixes long-running accounts with recent ones. Age also means a tag on a page is not proof of an active research programme. A team can leave a snippet in a template years after the last survey ran, so a match tells you the code is present, and the question of whether anyone still reads the answers has to be asked separately.
The reason to want a list rather than a lookup is the direction of the question. A per-domain check confirms whether one site you already care about runs the tool. A downloadable file answers the inverted question of which sites, in which markets and on which ecommerce platforms, invest in voice-of-customer research at all. The inversion is what makes the export useful to agencies selling user research, to competing feedback vendors mapping a market they might win, and to analysts studying how survey tooling clusters with subscription and checkout-heavy businesses. Joined against the rest of a site's stack, the pattern that emerges says more about how seriously a company measures its customers than about any single vendor.
Frequently asked questions
How many websites use Qualaroo?
webatla detects Qualaroo on 1 website, refreshed daily, with its domain, DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.
Can I download the list of websites using Qualaroo?
Yes, as structured JSONL. Grab a free sample first.
What's included for each site, and how fresh is it?
Domain, DNS, RDAP/WHOIS, the full technology stack, IP & country, PageRank and Harmonic, re-detected and re-exported daily.
How do I find the websites using Qualaroo?
Buy the technology dataset, then download the complete list of domains we detect using Qualaroo, re-exported every day.
What else is in the Qualaroo technology data?
Each row places Qualaroo next to the other technology on the same site, plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.
Can I download just the sites using Qualaroo, or the whole database?
Both. Every site running Qualaroo comes in the Technologies dataset, one downloadable file. Or buy All data for the entire database: technologies plus identity, ranking, DNS and RDAP/WHOIS for every domain, combined in one file. Daily fresh export.
How do I download the list of websites using Qualaroo?
Three steps: (1) grab the free 10,000-row sample to inspect the schema, (2) buy the Technologies dataset, (3) download the full list of every domain we detect running Qualaroo as a JSON Lines file. It is re-exported daily, so you can re-download the freshest list any time inside your access window. Each row carries the domain plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, hosting country and rank.
