Compliance widgets are bought by legal and risk teams at least as often as by engineers, and the trigger is rarely a redesign. eSSENTIAL Accessibility belongs to that group of scripts a company adds because somebody concluded the site carried an exposure worth closing, and closing it quickly mattered more than closing it in the markup.

The naming needs sorting out first. We record the product as eSSENTIAL Accessibility while the vendor field reads Level Access, because the business behind it changed identity through rebranding and consolidation while the deployed script and the references on customer pages kept the older name. Anyone matching our list against a vendor's own customer roster should expect the two names to point at the same thing. The product line dates to 2005 and the distribution is Proprietary, so every instance we see is a contracted deployment rather than a copied open source snippet, which makes the list unusually close to a paying population.

The inverse selection is worth as much. Large commercial sites that carry consent tooling and no accessibility layer at all are where the exposure sits unaddressed. A per domain lookup tells you about one site on one day. The export tells you how a compliance category spread through an industry, which vendors were displaced along the way, and where the remaining gap is.
