EPrints is an open-source repository software platform developed at the University of Southampton, UK, designed for creating and managing institutional repositories of academic research, including journal articles, theses, conference papers, and datasets. It is widely used by universities and research institutions to enable open access to scholarly output.

EPrints conforms to the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), allowing repository content to be indexed by academic search engines and aggregators.
