About Affiliate B

An affiliate tag is a plain statement about how a site earns money. Affiliate B sits in our Advertising category, and the job it does is the plumbing of performance marketing: tracking links, conversion attribution, and commission accounting between an advertiser and the publishers sending traffic toward it.

Detection places a site on one of two sides of that relationship, and telling the sides apart takes context the column does not supply by itself. A merchant carries the code to measure the sales that publishers deliver. A publisher carries the links in order to be paid for referring them. One platform serves both, so the presence of the tag identifies participation in an affiliate programme without identifying the role played in it.

We know little about the company operating the platform, and saying so is better than guessing. The product is Proprietary, which at least tells you there is an operator taking a cut rather than an open protocol anyone can run. Beyond that the record here is thin, and the page will say more when the underlying data does.

As of September 2026 the tag appears on 957 sites. Concentration is the useful property rather than a weakness.
