DPD is a parcel delivery network, part of the Geopost group, moving shipments for businesses and for consumers across Europe and into other markets through depots, road links and pickup stores. A carrier is not a website technology in the ordinary sense, so what our detection finds is the residue of a commercial arrangement rather than a component chosen for its own sake: a delivery option in a checkout, a rate or delivery date lookup, a label and dispatch integration, a pickup point selector, a tracking link pointing back at the carrier. Merchants reach DPD through shop platform modules and carrier interfaces, and our record files those as Freemium, which fits the way a carrier treats software whose whole purpose is to bring it parcels. A site in the Shipping carriers field carrying this integration is therefore a very particular kind of business.
