About DHTMLX

Finding a user interface component library on a public page means finding the edge of an application. DHTMLX exists to build grids, trees, schedulers, charts and Gantt views, which are not the furniture of a brochure site. When it turns up on a domain, the page in question is usually a booking screen, a project view, a customer portal or a dashboard that happens to sit on the open web, and behind it there is an internal system nobody set out to advertise.

Dinamenta UAB has been shipping DHTMLX since 2005, which puts it among the component suites that predate the modern framework era and had to adapt to it. The library is delivered as JavaScript widgets that drop into a plain page or wrap for use inside a framework, and much of the installed base reflects that history: long-lived business software, back-office tools, admin panels and industry-specific applications that were built once and are maintained rather than rewritten.

Licensing shapes who cares about the list. DHTMLX follows a Freemium model, with free editions alongside commercial licenses that add components, support and redistribution rights. A vendor selling on that model has a permanent question to answer, which is who runs the free build in a setting that ought to be paid, and the only way to see that from outside is to look at deployments instead of invoices. Competing component vendors have the mirror image of the same question, since every deployment is a renewal someone else could win.

As of September 2026 we detect DHTMLX on 2,228 sites. Detection works from script and stylesheet fingerprints in delivered markup, so anything sitting behind a login is invisible to us, and bundled or renamed builds often are too. Because this library concentrates in exactly the kind of authenticated application we cannot crawl, the count should be read as the visible fraction of a larger deployment base rather than an installation total. We hold no version breakdown either, so the age of a given deployment is not something the data can tell you here.

The value of the export is that it turns a mostly invisible category into a list of domains. Public-facing pages built on component libraries are the observable trace of business applications, and the domains behind them show which industries, which regions and which kinds of companies still build data-heavy interfaces this way. A single lookup cannot show you a category. A full list can.
