About Cluep
Advertising technology is unevenly visible to a web crawler, and the reason is where the ads actually get served. A platform that places inventory inside mobile applications and social feeds does most of its work in places a crawler of web pages never reaches, so the fingerprints it leaves on ordinary sites come down to a pixel, a conversion tag or a landing page script. Cluep sits in that position, which is the first thing to understand before reading its number.
As of October 2026 the platform is recorded on 2 sites. A count that low, for an Advertising vendor our record dates to 2012, is best read as a measure of open-web tagging rather than of business activity. Campaign delivery and measurement can happen almost entirely outside the pages we are able to crawl.
Where the entry becomes genuinely useful is on the advertiser side. A conversion or retargeting tag from a demand-side platform appears on the pages of the brands buying the media, not on the pages selling it, so a match here points at a marketer with an active campaign rather than at a publisher.
