Le profil client découle de la tarification. L’hébergement infogéré vend du confort et le facture, tandis que cette extrémité du marché vend de la capacité et attend de l’acheteur qu’il apporte ses propres opérations, et c’est pourquoi les sites que l’on trouve ici penchent vers les développeurs, les agences qui font tourner leurs propres stacks, les logiciels auto-hébergés et les infrastructures placées délibérément plutôt que par défaut.

Le fil commun est qu’ils ont tous besoin de la population et non d’un échantillon, et la population n’existe que sous la forme d’un fichier que vous pouvez télécharger et filtrer.

Deux réserves appartiennent à cette fiche. L’attribution d’hébergement provient de la propriété du réseau, ce qui vous dit d’où un site est servi et non qui possède le domaine, si bien qu’une seule agence qui revend de l’espace à ses clients produit de nombreuses lignes qui remontent toutes à une seule relation. Et un site placé derrière un CDN ou un proxy inverse peut être servi depuis ce réseau tout en présentant une adresse qui appartient à quelqu’un d’autre, ce qui tire notre décompte vers le bas plutôt que vers le haut.
