A general purpose content management system tells you how a site was built. A vertical one tells you what the site is. OpenNemas is a CMS sold to news publishers, so a domain in this list is, with unusual reliability, a media property rather than an arbitrary business that happens to run a blog.

The name invites an assumption the licence contradicts. Despite the prefix, OpenNemas is Proprietary and written in PHP, which means a site running it is a customer with a contract rather than a developer who downloaded something and forked it. The vendor field on this page carries Openhost, which is the product name, while the company that builds and hosts the software presents itself on its own site as Openhost, a Spanish agency that sells the platform as a hosted service. Platform choice in that situation is a purchasing decision made by a publisher, not a default inherited from a hosting package.

Newsroom software has to meet requirements a general CMS never faces.
