Jekyll est un générateur de site statique open source écrit en Ruby, conçu pour transformer des fichiers texte brut écrits en Markdown en sites web statiques complets, prêts à publier. Il a été créé par Tom Preston-Werner, cofondateur de GitHub, et est étroitement intégré à GitHub Pages, ce qui en fait l’outil par défaut pour héberger de la documentation et des sites personnels sur le service d’hébergement statique gratuit de GitHub.
