About Iterable
Ask what a cross-channel marketing platform looks like from the outside and the honest answer is usually nothing at all. The work happens in outbound email, in server-to-server API calls, in mobile SDKs and in campaign logic that never touches the public HTML of a company's website. Iterable sells exactly that kind of system, which is campaign orchestration across email, push, SMS and in-app messaging driven by behavioural data pulled from a warehouse or a customer data platform. The product has been on the market since 2013 and is offered as a Proprietary hosted service, so there is no self-hosted edition and no public registry of buyers to cross-check against.
A naming problem is worth stating before any figure. The word iterable is ordinary vocabulary in a good number of programming languages, so a fingerprint built on the string alone would collect an enormous amount of noise. Our match is keyed on a specific served asset instead, which is narrower and more trustworthy, and also much easier to miss.
As of October 2026 the count of hosts we match stands at 1. Two forces push a figure like that downward. Companies running a lifecycle platform integrate it server-side or behind their own sending subdomain, and the browser-side pieces, where any exist, tend to live on preference centres, in-app surfaces and logged-in pages that a crawl of public pages does not see.
Presence still means something specific where we do catch it. A company does not end up on a platform in the Marketing automation category by installing a plugin on a whim. Someone made a funded decision to move lifecycle messaging off a simpler mail tool, which normally implies a marketing team large enough to own journeys, a data source worth connecting and a renewal date sitting in a procurement calendar. For a competing vendor, an agency or an integration partner selling into that stack, the interesting unit is the individual account rather than the aggregate.
The download exists for that inversion. A per-domain lookup tells you what one company you have already named is running. An export returns the hosts themselves, so a prospect list, a displacement campaign or a partner map can start from the technology instead of from a list of companies somebody already thought of. The honest framing for a count of this shape is a confirmed sample of the visible install base and not a census, and any commercial plan built on it should treat the matched set as leads that are certain to be fewer than the vendor's real customer base.
Frequently asked questions
How many websites use Iterable?
webatla detects Iterable on 1 website, refreshed daily, with its domain, DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.
Can I download the list of websites using Iterable?
Yes, as structured JSONL. Grab a free sample first.
What's included for each site, and how fresh is it?
Domain, DNS, RDAP/WHOIS, the full technology stack, IP & country, PageRank and Harmonic, re-detected and re-exported daily.
How do I find the websites using Iterable?
Buy the technology dataset, then download the complete list of domains we detect using Iterable, re-exported every day.
What else is in the Iterable technology data?
Each row places Iterable next to the other technology on the same site, plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.
Can I download just the sites using Iterable, or the whole database?
Both. Every site running Iterable comes in the Technologies dataset, one downloadable file. Or buy All data for the entire database: technologies plus identity, ranking, DNS and RDAP/WHOIS for every domain, combined in one file. Daily fresh export.
How do I download the list of websites using Iterable?
Three steps: (1) grab the free 10,000-row sample to inspect the schema, (2) buy the Technologies dataset, (3) download the full list of every domain we detect running Iterable as a JSON Lines file. It is re-exported daily, so you can re-download the freshest list any time inside your access window. Each row carries the domain plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, hosting country and rank.
