About Cloudera
Hadoop clusters do not run in a browser. Cloudera built its business on data infrastructure that sits inside a company network, pulling in logs and transactions and feeding analysts, reporting jobs and machine learning pipelines. None of that work needs a public web page to happen, which makes a web technology census close to the worst available instrument for measuring how widely the platform is deployed.
So the count on this page needs framing before it is worth anything. As of October 2026 we detect Cloudera on 1 sites. The figure counts public pages carrying a recognisable fingerprint, not organisations running the platform, and for a product whose natural home is a private cluster the distance between those two things is very large. Where the fingerprint does surface, it is usually because something was exposed on purpose: a documentation portal, a hosted notebook or workbench, a customer facing dashboard built on top of the cluster, or a demo environment left reachable after a proof of concept.
The platform comes from Cloudera Inc., is licensed as Proprietary software and is built largely in Java, and that combination points at where it lives. A stack of this weight runs on managed servers and virtual machines operated by an in house data engineering team, not on shared hosting. Commercial packaging of this ecosystem dates to 2008, early enough that the first buyers were organisations assembling their own data lakes rather than subscribing to a finished cloud service.
Rarity is what makes the signal useful. A domain that exposes anything from this stack almost certainly has an internal data platform, staff who operate it and a budget line for enterprise data tooling, which is a far narrower qualification than any marketing list will hand you. Vendors selling storage, orchestration, cataloguing, governance or observability into that market can treat each match as an account already committed to a heavyweight architecture.
A per domain lookup is no help for a question like this, because it can only confirm a domain you have already guessed. When a fingerprint appears this seldom, the difficulty is finding a candidate at all, and a downloadable list of every match across the whole crawl is the only practical way to do it. A full list also makes its own limit visible: any organisation that keeps every Cloudera surface behind a login or a private network never enters the data, so read what is there as a floor rather than an estimate.
Frequently asked questions
How many websites use Cloudera?
webatla detects Cloudera on 1 websites, refreshed daily, each with its domain, DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.
Can I download the list of websites using Cloudera?
Yes, as structured JSONL. Grab a free sample first.
What's included for each site, and how fresh is it?
Domain, DNS, RDAP/WHOIS, the full technology stack, IP & country, PageRank and Harmonic, re-detected and re-exported daily.
How do I find the websites using Cloudera?
Buy the technology dataset, then download the complete list of domains we detect using Cloudera, re-exported every day.
What else is in the Cloudera technology data?
Each row places Cloudera next to the other technology on the same site, plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.
Can I download just the sites using Cloudera, or the whole database?
Both. Every site running Cloudera comes in the Technologies dataset, one downloadable file. Or buy All data for the entire database: technologies plus identity, ranking, DNS and RDAP/WHOIS for every domain, combined in one file. Daily fresh export.
How do I download the list of websites using Cloudera?
Three steps: (1) grab the free 10,000-row sample to inspect the schema, (2) buy the Technologies dataset, (3) download the full list of every domain we detect running Cloudera as a JSON Lines file. It is re-exported daily, so you can re-download the freshest list any time inside your access window. Each row carries the domain plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, hosting country and rank.
