About Wheelio
Coverage in a crawl is decided page by page, not site by site. A fingerprint fires only when the pattern appears in the markup or the assets of the page that was actually fetched, and plenty of front-end code lives somewhere else on a site: a product page, a cart, a checkout step, a script that loads after a delay, or a widget shown to some visitors and not to others.
The distinction carries most of the weight here, because our record for Wheelio holds a name and a count and little else. No vendor, no license, no category, no first year and no version data are attached, so the name and the count are the only things worth putting weight on. Everything else a reader might want, who makes it, what it costs, which platform it plugs into, would be guesswork dressed as fact.
As of October 2026 the count stands at 1. A figure like that should be read as confirmed positives rather than as a census, because a crawl proves presence and cannot prove absence. Every site in the list served the pattern to us. Sites missing from the list may be running the same code on a page we never fetched, and the gap is not random, since it depends on where in a site the code happens to live.
For a researcher the practical value of a small, honest list is that every entry is checkable. A set of confirmed domains is a starting point for outreach, for a competitive review or for a manual verification pass, and it is the one output a per-domain lookup cannot produce, since looking domains up one by one requires knowing which domains to look up in the first place. Pulling the list again after the next refresh shows movement, and movement on a thin row is usually more informative than the figure itself.
Frequently asked questions
How many websites use Wheelio?
webatla detects Wheelio on 1 website, refreshed daily, with its domain, DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.
Can I download the list of websites using Wheelio?
Yes, as structured JSONL. Grab a free sample first.
What's included for each site, and how fresh is it?
Domain, DNS, RDAP/WHOIS, the full technology stack, IP & country, PageRank and Harmonic, re-detected and re-exported daily.
How do I find the websites using Wheelio?
Buy the technology dataset, then download the complete list of domains we detect using Wheelio, re-exported every day.
What else is in the Wheelio technology data?
Each row places Wheelio next to the other technology on the same site, plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, country and ranking.
Can I download just the sites using Wheelio, or the whole database?
Both. Every site running Wheelio comes in the Technologies dataset, one downloadable file. Or buy All data for the entire database: technologies plus identity, ranking, DNS and RDAP/WHOIS for every domain, combined in one file. Daily fresh export.
How do I download the list of websites using Wheelio?
Three steps: (1) grab the free 10,000-row sample to inspect the schema, (2) buy the Technologies dataset, (3) download the full list of every domain we detect running Wheelio as a JSON Lines file. It is re-exported daily, so you can re-download the freshest list any time inside your access window. Each row carries the domain plus DNS, WHOIS, IP, hosting country and rank.
