O Sapper é uma framework para construir aplicações web utilizando o Svelte. Desenvolvido pela equipa central do Svelte, o Sapper fornecia renderização no servidor, routing baseado em ficheiros e divisão de código para projetos baseados em Svelte. Foi concebido para facilitar a construção de aplicações web de alto desempenho com um mínimo de código repetitivo, aproveitando o modelo de componentes compilados do Svelte.

Entretanto, o Sapper foi substituído pelo SvelteKit, que se tornou a framework oficial para construir aplicações Svelte. Apesar disso, vários sites construídos com o Sapper continuam em produção, sobretudo os criados entre 2019 e 2021. A deteção do Sapper indica normalmente um projeto mais antigo baseado em Svelte que ainda não migrou para o SvelteKit.
