À propos de Octopress

Octopress est un framework de blog plutôt qu’un système de contenu au sens courant du terme. L’outillage génère du HTML brut sur la machine d’un développeur, et le résultat est déposé sur un hébergement statique et bon marché, si bien qu’au moment où un visiteur arrive il ne reste aucune application pour gérer le site. Le framework est publié sous licence MIT, écrit en Ruby, et date de 2009, ce qui le place dans la vague des générateurs statiques qui ont sorti les premiers blogs de développeurs des bases de données.
