About UnoCSS
An atomic CSS engine finishes its work before a browser ever loads the page, and that is the central problem in counting one. UnoCSS generates only the utility classes a project actually uses, at build time, and what ships is a stylesheet that looks hand-written. There is no runtime script to fingerprint and no vendor endpoint being called, so detection depends on leftover build artifacts, source maps, or class naming conventions that survived into production. Every number on this page should be read with that in mind.
As of October 2026 the recorded count is 1. A build tool with the profile above will be undercounted by any crawler, including ours, and the gap between real adoption and detected adoption is wider here than it would be for a library loaded from a shared CDN. The version data tells the same story from another angle. Our version column shows one release and one only, 0.37.2, which is what happens when the sample is tiny rather than evidence that the ecosystem has settled on a single version. A version string beginning with a leading zero also says something about the release the site was built against, since projects at that stage change their own configuration format between minor releases.
The license is MIT and the project dates from 2021, written in TypeScript. A UI frameworks of that vintage sits in the modern build-tool generation, where the choice of CSS engine travels with a choice of bundler, framework and package manager.
