About Coinimp
A visitor's processor is a resource somebody can spend without asking the visitor, and browser mining is the business built on that fact. Coinimp is recorded in our index as JavaScript embedded in a page, filed under Cryptominers because it belongs on none of the ordinary shelves of hosting, commerce or measurement. The supplier on record is Coinimp and the script is Proprietary, distributed with an account and a dashboard rather than as a library anyone can fork.
Dating from 2019, the product entered a market that had just lost its best known operator, and the whole category has carried a reputation problem ever since.
