La gestion de contenu d’entreprise vendue dans les années quatre-vingt-dix s’accompagnait d’une promesse, celle qu’un site bâti dessus fonctionnerait encore dix ans plus tard, et Vignette est l’un des rares endroits où cette promesse peut être confrontée à des données réelles. Les empreintes reposent sur des motifs d’URL, des noms de cookies et des en-têtes qu’un proxy inverse ou une couche de cache peut masquer complètement, et la réécriture des anciennes URL est une étape précoce classique de tout projet de modernisation, si bien qu’un site qui fait encore tourner la plateforme derrière une façade plus avenante nous échappera. Considérez le chiffre comme un plancher du nombre d’installations encore en service.
