OpenLayers est une bibliothèque JavaScript open source performante et riche en fonctionnalités, destinée à l’affichage de cartes dans les navigateurs web. Elle prend en charge un large éventail de sources cartographiques, dont OpenStreetMap, Bing Maps, Google Maps, WMS, WMTS et des services de tuiles vectorielles, ce qui en fait l’une des bibliothèques cartographiques les plus polyvalentes disponibles.

Sortie pour la première fois en 2006, OpenLayers est maintenue par une communauté open source active et utilisée par des administrations publiques, des professionnels des SIG et des développeurs web ayant besoin d’un contrôle total sur le rendu et l’interaction des cartes.
