JavaServer Faces (JSF) est un framework d’application web Java qui simplifie le développement d’interfaces utilisateur pour les applications côté serveur Java EE (désormais Jakarta EE). Il fournit un modèle basé sur les composants pour construire des interfaces web, en gérant de façon structurée la soumission de formulaires, la validation, la navigation et le traitement des événements côté serveur.

Développé à l’origine sous le Java Community Process et sorti pour la première fois en 2004 dans le cadre de Java EE 5, JSF est devenu une composante standard de la plateforme d’entreprise Java. Il est désormais maintenu par la Eclipse Foundation sous le nom de Jakarta Faces. JSF est couramment utilisé dans les applications Java d’entreprise, en particulier dans les secteurs financier, de l’assurance et public, où l’infrastructure Java EE est répandue. Les implémentations populaires incluent Oracle Mojarra et Apache MyFaces.
