mod_ssl est un module du serveur HTTP Apache qui fournit une cryptographie forte pour le serveur web en utilisant les protocoles Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) et Transport Layer Security (TLS). Il permet les connexions HTTPS, l’authentification par certificat et la communication chiffrée entre les clients et le serveur Apache.
