O Preact foi desenhado para desaparecer dentro de um pacote de aplicação e, assim que um passo de compilação o minifica juntamente com tudo o resto, aquilo que sobrevive na página não traz nenhum nome que consigamos ler. Os casos visíveis são os que não foram empacotados: um script trazido de uma rede pública de distribuição de conteúdos, um caminho de módulo reconhecível, uma variável global que uma camada de compatibilidade deixa ficar na página.

Em outubro de 2026 isso dá-nos 22 sites. A população implantada é certamente maior, e ninguém deve usar este valor para dimensionar a adoção da biblioteca, porque o valor mede um estilo de implantação e não uma escolha de tecnologia.

O estilo de implantação vale por si mesmo. Um site que carrega o Preact a partir de uma rede partilhada em vez de o compilar para dentro é normalmente um site em que se acrescentou uma camada de visualização leve a páginas que já eram renderizadas no servidor, e não um site em que se construiu uma aplicação de página única de raiz. Construir isso a partir da verificação de endereços um a um não é prático, e uma ferramenta de site único nunca dirá quando é que um ecossistema de plugins ou um fornecedor de temas normalizou discretamente o mesmo motor de execução em milhares de clientes. Leia a lista como prova de um padrão, trate os domínios ausentes como não provados e não como limpos, e a pequenez do número deixa de ser um problema e passa a ser a fronteira de uma amostra bem definida.
