YUI (Yahoo User Interface Library) es un conjunto de utilidades JavaScript y widgets de interfaz de usuario desarrollado por Yahoo para crear aplicaciones web interactivas y ricas en funciones. Publicado como proyecto de código abierto en 2006, YUI ofrecía herramientas para la manipulación del DOM, la gestión de eventos, animaciones, comunicación AJAX y un completo conjunto de componentes de interfaz.
En su momento de mayor auge, YUI fue una de las bibliotecas JavaScript más utilizadas de la web, adoptada ampliamente por aplicaciones y empresas a gran escala. Yahoo retiró oficialmente YUI en 2014, deteniendo su desarrollo, a medida que el ecosistema JavaScript evolucionaba hacia nuevos frameworks y el ecosistema modular de npm.
