Про Semantic UI

Фронтенд-фреймворк радше датує сайт, ніж описує його. Semantic UI належить до категорії UI frameworks і збудований навколо конкретної ставки: назви класів мають читатися як звичайна англійська, щоб розмітка описувала намір, а не оформлення. Ставка спрацювала достатньо добре, щоб фреймворк розійшовся адмінпанелями, дашбордами, сайтами документації та маркетинговими сторінками продуктів у ті роки, коли бібліотека компонентів на основі jQuery була розумним вибором за замовчуванням.

Далі імпульс сповільнився. Робота над початковим проєктом стала уривчастою, а активну підтримку підхопив спільнотний форк, що лишає встановлену базу в особливому становищі: вона працює, вона широко розгорнута і вона вже ні за чим не стежить угорі за течією. Наші дані про версії показують ту саму історію з іншого боку. Ми розрізняємо стільки випусків: 7, а мітку 2.4.2 прив'язуємо до більшої кількості виявлень, ніж будь-яку іншу, і саме така концентрація виникає тоді, коли проєкт перестає випускати нове, а його користувачі перестають оновлюватися разом із ним.

Підсумки є радше нижньою межею, ніж підрахунком справжнього сліду фреймворку.
