Um tema é a decisão mais barata que o dono de um site WordPress toma e a que deixa o rasto mais longo. O código, as cores e a disposição chegam juntos numa só transferência, ficam no sítio durante anos e identificam discretamente um site muito depois do negócio por trás dele ter mudado de rumo.

O Hestia é um tema multiúsos gratuito publicado pela ThemeIsle com licença GPL v2 e lançado por volta de 2016, construído com um aspeto plano de influência Material que servia a agências, empresas em arranque e sites institucionais de uma só página quando apareceu. A configuração faz-se no personalizador do WordPress e não no código, pelo que o comprador é normalmente um fundador, um profissional independente ou uma pequena agência, e não uma equipa de engenharia. O suporte para WooCommerce e a compatibilidade com os construtores de páginas mais comuns alargaram o mesmo público às pequenas lojas.
