Про Ko-fi

Виявлення тримається на тому, що вбудована кнопка або скрипт віджета завантажується у сторінці. Автор, який просто ставить текстове посилання на сторінку підтримки, без жодного скрипта, лишає по собі значно менше, а такий візерунок поширений на сайтах, зроблених руками, і на розміщених платформах, які зрізають сторонні скрипти. Тому підрахунок перекошений у бік авторів, які використовують офіційне вбудовування на сайті, що вони контролюють самі. Кожному, хто вивчає монетизацію авторів, варто вважати перелік надійною вибіркою, а не повною рамкою, і очікувати, що справжнє охоплення платформи ширше за те, що бачить будь-яке сканування.
