.ye Hakkında

Yemen'in ülke kodu üst düzey alan adı .ye, Yemen Cumhuriyeti'nin ulusal internet tanımlayıcısı olarak hizmet verir. Arap Yarımadası'nda yer alan Yemen, 2010'ların ortasından bu yana internet altyapısını ve dijital gelişimini etkileyen önemli siyasi ve insani zorluklarla karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Bu zorluklara rağmen .ye ccTLD uzantısı, Yemenli işletmelere, devlet kurumlarına ve kuruluşlara çevrimiçi varlık oluşturmak için resmi bir ulusal alan adı sunar.

.ye alan adı, Telekomünikasyon ve Bilgi Teknolojileri Bakanlığı bünyesinde faaliyet gösteren ulusal internet kayıt otoritesi Yemen Net tarafından yönetilmektedir. .ye alan adlarının kaydı tarihsel olarak kısıtlı olmuş ve yerel varlık veya bağlantı gerektirmiştir. Yemen'deki alan adı ortamı, devam eden çatışma ve altyapı sorunları nedeniyle bölge komşularına kıyasla sınırlı kalmıştır, ancak .ye, Yemenli kuruluşlar ve devlet kurumları için resmi dijital tanımlayıcı olarak hizmet vermeye devam etmektedir.
