Yemen web pazarı hakkında

Yemen, dünyanın en ciddi insani krizlerinden biriyle karşı karşıyadır ve bu durum, telekomünikasyon dahil ülkenin altyapısının tüm yönlerinde yıkıcı bir etkiye yol açmıştır. İnternet erişim oranı bölgedeki en düşük oranlar arasındadır, çatışma, elektrik kesintileri ve altyapı hasarı nedeniyle ağlarda yaygın kesintiler yaşanmaktadır. Bu koşullara rağmen mobil internet ülkenin bazı bölgelerinde işlev görmeye devam etmektedir ve dijital ekonomi temel bir düzeyde varlığını sürdürmektedir.

.ye ccTLD uzantısı teknik olarak Yemen hükümeti tarafından yönetilmektedir, ancak fiili yönetimi devam eden iç çatışma nedeniyle önemli ölçüde aksamıştır. Uluslararası insani yardım ve haber kuruluşları .ye ile ilişkili dijital altyapıyı sürdürmektedir, bu sırada çevrimiçi gerçekleşen ticari faaliyetin büyük kısmı küresel alan adı uzantılarına dayanmaktadır.
