.hotmail ist eine Marken-Top-Level-Domain im Besitz der Microsoft Corporation und steht in Verbindung mit Hotmail, einem der ältesten und meistgenutzten webbasierten E-Mail-Dienste der Welt. Hotmail wurde 1996 gegründet, 1997 von Microsoft übernommen und 2013 in Outlook.com umbenannt, wobei der Name Hotmail und die zugehörigen E-Mail-Adressen weltweit weiterhin aktiv und weithin bekannt sind.

Die TLD .hotmail wurde über das neue gTLD-Programm der ICANN delegiert und ist ausschließlich für die Nutzung durch Microsoft reserviert. Sie steht nicht zur öffentlichen Registrierung offen.
