CKEditor є браузерним WYSIWYG-редактором форматованого тексту для вебу. Вперше він був випущений у 2003 році під назвою FCKeditor, створений Фредеріко Калдейра Кнаббеном (Frederico Caldeira Knabben), а нині розробляється польською компанією CKSource, яка перейменувала його на CKEditor з версією 3 у 2009 році.
