Mongrel, Zed Shaw tarafından geliştirilen ve ilk olarak yaklaşık 2006 yılında yayımlanan erken bir Ruby HTTP sunucusu ve kütüphanesidir. Günümüz Rails dağıtımlarında yerini büyük ölçüde Unicorn, Puma ve Passenger gibi daha modern sunuculara bırakmış olsa da, Mongrel, Ruby on Rails'i üretim web uygulamaları için uygulanabilir kılma konusunda tarihsel açıdan önemli bir rol oynamıştır.
